• If you buy plants + apparel or stationery, at checkout it’ll appear as if you need to check out twice. Don’t worry, your order will be sent at the same time, but Squarespace (the company my website is built through) is weird in how they set up their shipping formats. You won’t be overcharged, you’ll just be paying for what you’re buying but in their weird way of doing things.

A flat rate fee of $20 will be charged for plant shipping. This fee applies whether you buy 1 or 100 plants.

Stationery and apparel are charged at $4 per item for standard shipping and $9 per item for express shipping.

For example, if you buy 10 plants and 2 notebooks your total will be $20 for the plants + either $8 or $18 added to that depending on if you select standard or express shipping for the notebooks. Please contact me via the contact tab if there’s any confusion prior to checking out.

All plant orders will be posted on either Monday or Tuesday and will only be sent via Australia Post Express Postage.

All other orders will be posted on the next available business day.

Tracking will be provided after the package has been handed over to AusPost. Please let me know if you have not received a tracking number.

I can guarantee that the products are carefully and safely packaged, however, once the item is handed to AusPost, I am not liable for any damages caused by them or any damages after delivery.

A refund will not be given on any plants once they have been shipped.

A refund will not be issued if incorrect delivery address is provided.

A refund will not be issued if item is damaged through transit or upon delivery.

A refund will only be given if sufficient photo proof is given of damaged items WITHIN 7 DAYS of delivery. The damaged item must be returned and shipping costs will be refunded once item is received.

  • Plants are now being shipped semi-bare rooted. This means that the plants are removed from their pots and excess soil is removed from the roots. I’d prefer to send in pots but AusPost shipping prices keep going up and it’s not beneficial to me nor the customer to charge stupid amounts. So please make sure you have spare potting mix before your new plants arrive!

The plants will be wrapped in damp sphagnum moss as to not let them dry out. Upon arrival, gently remove the moss from the roots and then place the plant in the size appropriate pot. Please contact me if you’re unsure of what size pot to use via the contact tab.

I may still ship the occasional plant in a pot here and there but that’ll be up to my discretion based on the order.

Cuttings will be treated like all other plants. They will be sent wrapped in moss.

  • Short answer, no. Sometimes I may tease upcoming releases of plants or products on my social media accounts but until that item has been released, I won’t be accepting any orders on them.

  • A lot of the plants I sell are from propagations from my own private collection. I will also sometimes buy from other sellers, grow them out then sell them on or sometimes I may get them from wholesalers.

  • Not yet. Hopefully in the future I will. If you’re located in WA, NT or TAS, you’re welcome to buy something that isn’t a living plant.

  • No. I have no plants of doing this either as of yet.

  • Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I will state in the description of each listing if the plant pictured is the one you will receive. If the plant is more common, I will often just use a generic photo and say you’ll receive a plant of similar quality. If it’s a more uncommon plant, I will post the exact plant photographed.

  • I do! If you live locally then you’re more than welcome to arrange a pick up time. Unfortunately though, I don’t allow anyone onto the premises. I operate from my home so privacy is very important to me. The collection point is at the front gate and will be discussed at the time of pick up arrangement.

  • Unfortunately not at this stage. I run all of this out of my home and I live with other people so privacy needs to be respected. Hopefully in the future when I’ve moved and have a lot more space I’ll be able to have people come and have a look around though!

  • Taken from Google…

“Tissue culture (TC) is the cultivation of plant cells, tissues, or organs on specially formulated nutrient media. Under the right conditions, an entire plant can be regenerated from a single cell. Plant tissue culture is a technique that has been around for more than 30 years.”

Aka, the plants labeled “Non-TC” have been grown from cuttings of plants that were propagated from old plants or grown from seed.

Do I have proof that these plants are in fact not tissue cultured? No. But I’m trusting my sources with the information they have provided me.

The jury is still out on TC vs. Non-TC plants. Some people don’t care, others don’t like TC plants. TC plants can sometimes come out not looking how they are meant to which go on to be sold as a different type of plant. There’s arguments out there that suggest TC plants genetics aren’t as strong and are more susceptible to pests/viruses etc. but I’m not educated enough to comment on that.
