Alocasia Macrorrhiza
Alocasia Macrorrhiza aka Macrorrhizos AKA Elephant Ear Plant aka Giant Taro. The plant with many names is an incredibly easy plant to look after. I’d argue it were the easiest Alocasia to look after. Can be grown indoor or outdoor. I have my mature one growing in full sun. I wouldn’t recommend putting these in full sun just yet but outside should be fine after Winter.
These guys are seed grown so have their own set of genetics and a tap root.
I have several of these available so the one you receive may not be the one pictured but they are all of similar size and appearance.
Plant will be sent semi-bare rooted. This means that it’ll be removed from the pot, most of the soil removed and then the roots wrapped in sphagnum moss and put in a bag. Please make sure you have potting mix and a pot readily available before your package arrives.
