Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with Elusive Plants! I want to ensure that your order is delivered as quickly and safely as possible. Please read the shipping policy below for all the details:
All orders are shipped from my greenhouse in Beresfield, NSW.
If you wish to cancel or alter your order, please contact me immediately after placing the order and I will try my best to assist. However please keep in mind that your order may already be packed and shipped and it may not be possible to make any changes.
1. Processing Time
- All orders containing plants are processed on the following Sunday or Monday after you place your order and shipped the next day.
- All orders not containing plants are processed within 24 hours from the time of purchase.
- All orders for pick up are typically processed within 1-2 hours if placed during business hours (10am - 7pm) otherwise they will be picked and packed first thing the next day.
- If I experience a high volume of orders or there are unforeseen delays, processing time may take longer. In such cases, you will be notified.
2. Shipping Methods and Rates
I offer the following shipping options:
- Standard Shipping (2-8 business days)
- Express Shipping (1-4 business days)
The shipping rates are flat rates. Meaning you won't pay more than $20 for express shipping. Standard shipping rates will be a case by case scenario based on the custom order at the time.
If you order plants, you MUST select express shipping at checkout or your order will be cancelled.
3. Domestic Shipping
- I ship to NSW, QLD, VIC, SA & ACT.
- Free express shipping is available on orders over $150 (applied automatically at checkout).
- I can post non-plant items to WA, NT and TAS. Please contact me via the contact tab to arrange a private order.
4. International Shipping
- I don't post internationally.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number. You can use this to track the status of your package. If you don't receive a tracking number, please check your junk/spam folder before contacting me.
6. Lost or Damaged Packages
- If your package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact me immediately at elusiveplants@hotmail.com. I will assist in filing a claim with AusPost and ensuring that you receive a replacement or refund.
- Please retain all packaging and damaged goods as they may be needed for the claims process.
7. Address Accuracy
Please double-check the shipping address at checkout to ensure it is correct. I am not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
8. Shipping Restrictions
- I can not ship to quarantine states. (NT, WA, TAS)
9. Holidays and Special Occasions
Please note that shipping carriers may experience delays during peak seasons or holidays. I recommend placing orders in advance to avoid potential delays during such times.
